Nice hotel, excellent location

This hotel is in a great location and had a great look and feel. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again, but I do have a suggestion for the hotel that might help to take it to the next level. We were given some vouchers for a free breakfast each morning, but the free breakfast only came with one cup of coffee. You pay for refills. Like most people, I need at least two cups of coffee each morning to get me started. Free coffee seems to be pretty standard at most hotels. I know that the price of coffee has gone up, but this is a four-star hotel and should act like one. I would suggest that you offer free coffee and use real plates and utensils (not plastic ones) at breakfast. Other than that, everything was great.

Great hotel for our first stay - it’s an old hotel which probably needs updating but that was part of the charm! Great location to get to all the sights and right next to Penn station which made it easy to get the subway. We went to a Knicks game at MSG and it was great to be so close and just walk across the road. Our room unfortunately had a broken door and air con but they upgraded us straight away to a better one with a great view. Rooms are plenty big enough and we had two adults, an 18 and 12 year old. House keeping very friendly and accomodating and we felt very safe and right in the heart of the hustle and bustle without being too overwhelming! Would definitely stay here again and recommend.
